results, and measure risk and uncertainty in your projections - How to package and present business case results for maximum impact
Business Case Master Class is designed as a one-day follow on course for those who have business case experience, or those who have completed Building the Business Case. The Master Class prepares participants to:
- Design the financial model at the heart of the business case, so as to best address the business case purpose.
- Build financial models with best practice spreadsheet programming skills.
- Apply influence diagram analysis to analyze complex business situations and determine business objectives, cost drivers, uncertainties, risks, contributions to revenues, and other factors that must be modeled.
- Apply Monte Carlo Simulation to the business case model, in order to address risk and sensitivity Questions:
- How likely are the projected results?
- How likely are other results?
- Which assumptions are most important in controlling expected busieness results?
- Which contingencies and critical success factors must be managed to target levels, in order to obtain these results?
- Make non financial costs and benefits tangible, show how they impact business objectives, and compare them to financial results.
