Tax Authorities

Please note: This page is currently under revision. Please return later for the revised and complete list of links.

tax_currency.jpgWhen the business case is an after-tax case (i.e., it includes estimated tax effects), there are many opportunities for tax consequences to contribute to the "bottom line:" when operating income is increased, for instance, or when asset acquisitions lead to depreciation expenses.

Estimating the applicable tax rates can begin with a review of history in the organization's financial statements. When new or more detailed tax information is required, the best source will be a tax specialist in your own organization. Otherwise, you can look directly to the taxing authorities involved.
